What's Shakin' at Paula and Dave's?

Queen: We Will Rock You
Blackhawk Down: Soundtrack
The Wings of a Film
Dave Matthews Band: Everyday
U2: All That You Can't Leave Behind

DVD
5.1 Sound

Video: This DTS version is THX certified and the remastered video looks pretty good.
Sound: Ditto for the remastered DTS audio
Dave & Paula say: From the early 80's it's Queen in their prime -- drama-rock, endless rows of adrenalin-crazed fans in one of those forever Brit stadiums and Chief Queen Freddy Mercury gets down to his shorts by the end of the concert. What's not to like?

Sound: Outstanding, from whispers to "tribal war."
Dave & Paula say: Another moving Zimmer/Scott effort with elements (and performers) from Gladiator, Thin Red Line, Millenium and other scores. Not for casual listening.

Sound: Good for a live concert recording
Dave & Paula say: Nice selection from some of Zimmer's best film scores. Could have been better with less Lion King and more from unrepresented older films like Backdraft and Toys.

Sound: Good. Nice dynamic range, punchy bass
Dave & Paula say: Some good tunes, especially the Grammy winning "Space Between."

Sound: Typical high-quality U2 production.
Dave & Paula say: OK, it's U2, the production's slick and they sound good. But there's not much here that makes us want to come back again and again.
