and Patricia Get Hitched!!

and Dave take a mini vacation to Oakland to celebrate John and
Patricia's wedding on Saturday September 9, 2000.
A
leisurely trip up from Ramona Thursday to Morro Bay and the
Blue Sails Inn on the coast, and dinner at The Gallery
on the water front. Breakfast Friday morning at Dorn's, then
up US 101 to the Bay for the prenuptial family and friends party
in downtown San Francisco. Saturday, a beautiful day for a wedding
fest out-of-doors at the Kennedy Grove in the Hills east of
Oakland, followed by an exciting Nash Metropolitan/freeway experience
and a more mellow after-party at the Pacific Coast Brewery.
Breakfast with the happy couple, Dedra, Christa and friends
Sunday morning, then off to Monterey, the Butterfly Grove Inn
and dinner at The Tinnery, one of our mostest favorite
spots. Monday back to 101 and an adventure at Pinnacles National
Monument on the east side of the valley in the hills above Soledad.
Beautiful country, vineyards as far as the eye can see, one
lane roads, spectacular rocks and lots of hiking. Down 101 some
more to Pismo Beach for a picnic dinner at the beach, then a
dash through -- ugh -- Los Angeles to Ramona. Altogether, 1,350
miles of top down cruisin' in the sunshine. 26 miles per gallon
for El Foldo at 121,000 miles -- not bad!
